22 (body builder) high ck levels - will i ever train again
what kind of pains(and where exactly) are you having?
i cant really help you but your massage caught my eye.
i too trained in a gym 10 months ago and started feeling pains in my shoulders wrist.
thought its a injury, but it spreaded and now its all over all the time.
i was diagnosed with something called fibromyalgia, but im not sure as its an unknown illness even for the docs.
im trying to solve my own problem.
can you tell more about your symptoms?
*btw-what differ me from you(exept for the pains which i dont know where they are located in you) is that my pains started 2-3 month after i start weightlifting, and they are all over-all the time now!
Hi everyone
im a 22 male. Have been having muscle pain for a month now, it seems to be spreading everyday. It started when a month ago when i hurt my neck and the gym since then its been spreading. I had a blood test on an empty stomach around 3 weeks after initial injury and serum creatinine kinase is at 450. Not sure whats going on? Things are getting worse, and i need to gte back in the gym as i am competing soon.
Please any help would be appreciated

when i press against the muscle if feels bruised. It started on left side of back then spread to the right, now on my triceps and shoulder. It is spreading quickly. When i push against muscle its sore and and feels tite and abnormal. I have no other symptoms except this muscle pain...has your problem got any better? what did your blood tests indicate? Are you bak at the gym?

actually, ive been back at the gym after the pain started.
ive been 3 months ago until 1 month ago.
i cant wait to solve this problem, you dont know what it is to do squat/deadlift with pain all the time.(or do you?)
just not a normal feeling.
i also have pains in my wrists, so all the curls(especialy barbbels...) hurt as hell.
i cant wait to get back in a gym and train eat for years without pains.
actually, the pain started 11 months ago -..
in this time, i never been in the gym/at as i should more then 2-3 months without a stop! lol i stoped 3 times, and lost all i gained.
enough about me....
i dont know, my problem started 2-3 months after i started working out..
your pains probably after years.
my pains only got worst and worst and its anywhere anytime now.
i want to try and start workking out again tommorow.

yeh my pains are getting worse and worse and just appear in different parts of my body any time. I might just start training this week and forget about the pain that comes with it. Its driving me insane not being able to train. Thanks for your replied
Any one else have any idea whats going on with these ck levels being so high? how do i reduce them?

Doctor told me he thinks i have fibromyalgia. Can i still train or will training make it worse?

I was reading that creatine can cause muscle pain. I tend to believe it because after taking creatine for about a month, I started to get odd muscle pains that I hadn't had before. I stopped using the creatine and after a couple weeks, the pains went away.

Thanks for tha steven, i had used a creatine for a month before this all started. Its been a months since ive stopped and pain has continued. Did you have pain around your face and head?
